Cardiac Hospital Launched in City

Atiqi, Dhaka, 17 April:
A new cardiac hospital has been inaugurated in the city's Mirpur Road. The
specialized cardiac hospital has 24 hour emergency services, latest equipments
of diagnosing heart-diseases, and country's best heart specialists.
The
hospital will keep its door open for all heart-patients. Dr. Jamilur Rahman,
residential officer of the hospital said, "We hope to provide our service
at a very competitive rate. Besides, we will offer 10% discount on every test.
The hospital has 100 beds now, and we will increase it upto 200 beds."
However,
Health Minister was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony. In his speech he
said that the heart patients now no longer need to go abroad as the country now
can provide world-class medical services and facilities.
He also hoped that the hospital's reputed
doctor would motivate patients to receive treatment at home and save foreign
currencies.
